Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This site is operated by Resonance Wellbeing Pte Ltd, Singapore. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Important — this is not therapy or clinical care
Ian Tan is a coach. He is not practising as a psychologist, therapist or medical practitioner on this site. Signing up for the email series does not create a therapeutic or medical relationship, and nothing on this site or in the emails is individual advice for your situation, a diagnosis, or treatment. The series is general educational content.
If you are a coaching client, your client records are kept separately and are not connected to this website or to any advertising or analytics described below.
What we collect
If you sign up for an email series or newsletter, we collect the name and email address you give us, and we record which form you used and when.
If you simply visit, we collect standard technical information — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Who we share it with
Kit (kit.com) — our email platform. It stores your name, email address, and your engagement with the emails we send.
Squarespace — our website host, which provides basic site analytics.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta that a visit or a sign-up happened on this site so we can measure our advertising and show ads to relevant people. Meta's own handling of that data is governed by Meta's privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never will.
Why we collect it
To send you the emails you asked for, to understand which content is useful, and to measure whether our advertising works.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Technical and analytics data is retained on a rolling basis by the providers above.
Your choices
Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Ask us to delete your data. Email ian@thebrotherbu.com and we'll remove you.
Ask what we hold about you. Same address.
Turn off tracking cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's tracking protection. The site will still work.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
